The International Poker Open (IPO) Tour has new sponsors this year. It seems that this year, the already-popular poker tournament is set to be bigger and way better.

The new partnership

full-tilt-ipoThe new sponsor of the IPO is Full Tilt. This poker and gaming brand by Amaya Inc. might be good for business for both parties concerned in the partnership. The event is known for low buy-ins that everyone can afford. But this year the prize pool is also buzzed to be bigger than before. The previous year the prize pool was a staggering €330,000. So the organizers really have to work hard to top this figure. But with the new sponsorship and the popularity of the event, it seems it would be easier to do so.

The 2015 IPO

The 2015 IPO is beginning on 20th May in Bray. Now Bray is a beautiful town by the sea with Dublin to the south. This beautiful location further increases the novelty of the event. The IPO here is a $250 Main Event (No-Limit Hold’em). Spread over 2 days in Bray players begin day 1 with 25,000 worth of chips. The starting flights consist of blind levels of 30 minutes, which is increased to 40 minutes on the second day.

Other venues and dates for the IPO are Cork (July 10-12), Newcastle (August 21-23), London (August 28-30), Killarney (September 18-20), Dublin (October 21-26), and Limerick (November 13-15). Those who wish to participate in the events but can’t be at the venues can play the IPO through satellite events. The dates and buy-ins for these events vary from the main events. But however, the players choose to play at the IPO 2015; they are guaranteed lots of fun. The money they win, however, depends on their gameplay and luck. No doubt fans would be eager to see how the Full Tilt sponsorship helps the event.
